- Succeeded Air Marshal Sanjiv Ghuratia.
- Commissioned on 3 September 1988 in the Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical) branch.
- Earlier held posts of DG (Aircraft), DG (System) and ACAS (Maintenance Plans).
- Led induction of IAF’s first IL-78 Flight Refueller; awarded VSM (2015) and AVSM (2026).
