Air India to establish South Asia's largest flying training organization in Amravati

Air India, in collaboration with the Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC), is set to launch South Asia’s largest Flying Training Organisation (FTO) at Amravati's Belora airport, aiming to enhance India’s pilot training capacity and support the airline's transformation journey.
The DGCA-licensed FTO will begin operations in Q1 FY26 and aims to graduate 180 commercial pilots annually, featuring 31 single-engine and three twin-engine aircraft for comprehensive training.
