Gollala Gudi Temple designated National Importance

- ASI designated Kakatiya-era Gollala Gudi Temple in Palampet, Mulugu (Telangana) as a Monument of National Importance via Gazette notification S.O. 4802(E) dated 31 August 2026.
- Located southwest of UNESCO World Heritage Ramappa Temple.
- It is a Trikutalaya with three sanctums; central one has a Shiva Linga; features elaborate Kakatiya-style carvings, hamsa motifs, jali, and sculptures of Vishnu, Lakshmi, Ganesha, and Mahishasuramardini.
- Two detached shrines with dvarapalas stand in front.
- ASI plans roof repairs, flooring restoration, and improved visitor access for better conservation.
