India–Belgium sign multiple MoUs

India and Belgium signed several Memoranda of Understanding in New Delhi on 2–3 September 2026 during talks between PM Narendra Modi and Belgian PM Bart De Wever.
Agreements cover renewable energy (green hydrogen, solar, storage, offshore wind, pumped storage), defence-industrial cooperation, migration & mobility, semiconductors and critical minerals processing/recycling.
Both sides aim to double bilateral trade in the next five years.
Defence MoUs include technology partnership for projects such as the Zorawar light tank; Belgian frigate LEOPOLD I will visit India in November 2026.
