Successful drop trial of Khagantak-243 glide bomb

- IAF successfully tested indigenous long-range glide bomb Khagantak-243 from a Su-30MKI on 2 September 2026.
- Stand-off range exceeds 140 km from ~12,000 m altitude.
- Features cylindrical body, swivel glide wings, five control surfaces, and Mk-81 warhead.
- Guidance: INS + jamming-resistant satellite navigation; optional EO/IR or passive seekers for terminal phase.
- Co-developed by JSR Dynamics (airframe/controls) and Bharat Electronics Limited (electronics); supports Atmanirbhar Bharat.
