Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Awards 2024

- The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports announced four recipients of the 2024 awards on 2 September 2026.
- Land Adventure: Baljeet Kaur (first Indian to scale five 8,000 m peaks in one season) and Skalzang Rigzin (first Indian to summit Everest without oxygen or Sherpa).
- Water Adventure: Rimo Saha (para-swimming achievements).
- Lifetime Achievement: Shiv Prasad Chamoli (winter and adventure sports promotion).
- Each receives a bronze statuette, certificate, blazer/saree, and ₹15 lakh; to be presented by President Droupadi Murmu.
