- Surgeon Vice Admiral Dilip Raghavan, VSM, assumed charge as Director General Hospital Services (Armed Forces) on 1 September 2026.
- Born and educated in Chennai and Mumbai, he joined AFMC Pune in 1985, completed MBBS in 1989, and was commissioned into the Indian Navy on 26 December 1989.
- Key appointments include Command Medical Officer (Southern and Eastern Naval Commands) and Commanding Officer, INHS Asvini, Mumbai.
- Under his command, INHS Asvini received the Raksha Mantri Trophy for Best Command Hospital.
- He was awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal on 26 January 2026.
