Anil Chakravarthy Named Adobe’s Next CEO

Adobe’s Board has appointed Anil Chakravarthy as President and CEO effective 1 December 2026.
He succeeds long-time CEO Shantanu Narayen, who will become Executive Chair and remain closely involved.
Chakravarthy joined Adobe in 2020, rose to President of Digital Experience and worldwide field operations, and drove AI products (CX Enterprise, GenStudio, Brand Visibility) plus Workfront and Semrush integrations.
Earlier career: CEO of Informatica, roles at Symantec, VeriSign and McKinsey.
Education: B.Tech from IIT Varanasi; MS and PhD from MIT.
The board called the choice unanimous after a formal succession process.
