First woman officer from Zanskar region of Ladakh.
Part of the 342-cadet batch.
Studied 14 years at Lamdon Model School, Leh; Mechanical Engineering at Tezpur University; joined NCC.
Zanskar was part of Kargil district; notified as a separate district in 2026.
OTA Chennai trains Short Service Commission officers, including women.
