Samudra Pradakshina: Women Officers Complete Global Circumnavigation

- On 22 July 2026, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh welcomed nine women officers from Army, Navy, and Air Force after 314-day circumnavigation on IASV Triveni.
- The team covered 25,500 nautical miles across four oceans, crossing the equator twice, International Date Line, and rounding Cape Horn, Cape Leeuwin, and Cape of Good Hope.
- Showcases Nari Shakti, tri-service collaboration, and Aatmanirbhar Bharat in indigenous sailing technology.
