Dr Vasundhara Doraswamy to Receive Padmabhushan Guru Dr Saroja Vaidyanathan Excellence Award

Bharatanatyam exponent Dr Vasundhara Doraswamy will be honoured with the award at Vysakhi Nrithyotsav in Visakhapatnam on 26-27 September 2026.
The Mysore-based artiste has performed, researched and taught for over 50 years.
She is noted for integrating Bharatanatyam with Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, drawing on training under Pattabhi Jois.
Acclaimed choreographies include Panchali, Ganga Lahari and Sama Veda.
