Aims to protect five surviving rhino species against poaching, illegal trade and habitat loss.
Global population estimated at ~26,700 (IRF 2026 report).
Species: White & Black (Africa); Greater One-Horned (India-Nepal); Javan & Sumatran (Indonesia).
First announced by WWF-South Africa in 2010; international from 2011.
