West Bengal implements National Education Policy in colleges from 2023-24

The West Bengal government has announced that a 4-year undergraduate level programme will be introduced in all government/government-aided/government-sponsored higher education institutions from the academic session 2023-2024
This program will be done under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020
The students will be awarded degrees as per UGC's national curriculum and credit framework for UG level programmes.
