6th LG Cup Horse Polo Ends in Drass

The 6th LG Cup Horse Polo Championship concluded on 27 July 2026 in Drass, Ladakh; LG Vinai Kumar Saxena attended the final.
Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre defeated Animal Husbandry Department, Leh to win the title.
The tournament (21–27 July) featured 18 men’s and 4 women’s teams from across Ladakh.
Prize money raised: winners Rs 1 lakh, runners-up Rs 50,000 (previous: Rs 50,000 & Rs 25,000); winner’s purse to rise to Rs 2 lakh next season.
