- Chhattisgarh launches DWEEPTI Yojana (July 2026), India’s first women-led distributed Renewable Energy policy.
- Aims to create 5,000 women-led solar enterprises and 50,000 green jobs via Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
- Targets clean energy for 5 lakh families and solar solutions for 10,000 public institutions.
- 13 Cluster Level Federations registered as vendors; implemented under PMSGMBY with CSPDCL.
- Kabirdham is the first district; “Solar Didis” trained by Tata in installation and maintenance.
- Financial support includes flexible loans and linkage with the Lakhpati Didi initiative.
- Promotes women’s entrepreneurship, rural livelihoods, and green energy transition.
