UIDAI launches Aadhaar-based authentication framework for Cooperative Banks across India:

Marking the International Year of Cooperatives, UIDAI has introduced a new framework to integrate Cooperative Banks into Aadhaar-enabled authentication services. The initiative is expected to strengthen last-mile banking access and promote digital inclusion. The framework was developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Cooperation, NABARD, NPCI, and cooperative banks, and will encompass all 34 State Cooperative Banks and 352 District Central Cooperative Banks nationwide.
