Antim becomes 1st Indian wrestler to win back-to-back U20 world title

- Antim Panghal made history by becoming the first Indian woman wrestler to win back-to-back U20 world titles.
- Savita also became a world champion as the Indian women team won the team title for the first time in the history of the sport.
- Priya Malik won the 76kg title on 18 August 2023.
- Seven wrestlers from India won medals, including three gold medals, one silver, and three bronze.
