Wrestler Vinesh Phogat wins gold in CWG women's 53 kg

- This is her 3rd gold in Commonwealth Games she played so far.
- 27-year-old Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat has clinched Gold medal in 53 kg category at Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
- She won gold after defeating her opponents Samantha Stewart, Mercy Bolafunoluwa and Chamodya Keshani Maduravalage Don in 3 matches in the Nordic System group.
- She had won the 48kg gold at Glasgow 2014 and the 50kg division at Gold Coast 2018.
