Legendary Indian cricketer Anshuman Gaekwad passes away in Vadodara

Legendary Indian cricketer and former coach, and selector Anshuman Gaekwad passed away at the age of 71 in Vadodara, after losing his long battle with cancer.
Anshuman Gaekwad had a notable cricket career, playing 40 Tests and 15 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) for India between 1975 and 1987.
He made his Test debut against the West Indies in 1974 and played his last Test against England in 1984-85.
Known for his slow and defensive batting style, he scored 1985 runs in Tests with a highest score of 201 against Pakistan, and 269 runs in ODIs.
