₹6,405 Crore Railway Projects Approved for Jharkhand, Karnataka & Andhra Pradesh:

The Union Cabinet, chaired by PM Narendra Modi, approved two major railway doubling projects: Koderma–Barkakana in Jharkhand and Ballari–Chikjajur across Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The ₹6,405 crore projects will enhance freight and passenger train capacities and are targeted for completion within three years.
