NHAI Signs MoU With IIIT Delhi To Enhance Road Safety Through AI

- NHAI and IIIT Delhi have partnered to enhance road safety using Artificial Intelligence (AI) for improving road sign availability and condition on National Highways.
- IIIT Delhi will conduct surveys to collect imagery and data on road signages along selected National Highway stretches, aiming to create a detailed inventory.
- AI will be deployed to process this data, accurately identifying, classifying, and geo-stamping road signs to improve their maintenance and ensure better road safety measures.
