Khandu approves Rs 100 cr under CM's Social Security Scheme in Arunachal
  • Chief Minister Pema Khandu of Arunachal Pradesh has approved Rs 100 crore under the Chief Minister's Social Security Scheme (CMSSS).
  • The scheme targets elderly citizens aged 60 years and above, widows, and persons with disabilities (divyang jan) by providing them with financial assistance through pensions.
  • Approximately 80,000 individuals in Arunachal Pradesh are expected to benefit from this allocation, enhancing social security measures as part of the state government's flagship programme initiated in 2019.
