Squadron Leader Bhawana Kanth Becomes India’s First Woman Fighter Combat Leader:

Squadron Leader Bhawana Kanth has become the first woman to graduate from the Indian Air Force’s elite “Top Gun” school.
In 2021, Bhawana Kanth had already created history by becoming the first woman fighter pilot to march in the Republic Day parade and was one of India’s original pioneering trio of women fighter pilots.
Squadron Leader Kanth has now completed the demanding Fighter Combat Leader Course, comprising 20 weeks of the most advanced combat flying training offered by the IAF.
Only about one in 100 pilots is selected to even attempt the course.
