Iga Swiatek Defeats Elena Rybakina to Win Women’s Singles Title at Canadian Open:

In the Canadian Open Tennis, seventh seed Iga Swiatek of Poland defeated second seed Elena Rybakina in straight sets to win the Women’s Singles title in Toronto last night.
Swiatek claimed her first title of the season with a convincing 6-2, 6-3 victory, providing her with a confidence boost ahead of the US Open.
In the Men’s Singles, American tennis player Ben Shelton won the title in Montreal after defeating fellow American Brandon Nakashima by 6-3, 7-6(4). With this victory, the fifth-seeded Shelton successfully defended his tournament crown and secured his second career ATP Masters 1000 trophy.
