India, Mauritius ink G2G MoU on oil & gas cooperation in Port Louis

- India and Mauritius signed a G2G MoU on oil & gas cooperation in Port Louis on 20 August 2026.
- Signatories: Hardeep Singh Puri (India’s Petroleum Minister) and John Michaël Tzoun Sao Yeung Sik Yuen (Mauritius Commerce Minister).
- The MoU strengthens bilateral energy ties; Mauritius relies heavily on imported petroleum products.
- Separately, IndianOil and State Trading Corporation of Mauritius signed a 5-year sales & purchase agreement.
- It covers supply of petrol, diesel, marine gas oil and Aviation Turbine Fuel.
