Cameroon-flagged cargo vessel M/V LUTUF hijacked by armed pirates on 17 Aug 2026 off Marraya, Puntland (Somalia).
10 hostages: 6 Indians, 1 Turkish, 1 Georgian, 2 Serbian security guards.
Boarded 3.5 -- 4 nm off Eyl coast; diverted toward Nugaal coast near Garmaal.
Carrying Turkish weapons & equipment for Mogadishu military facility; owned by Polar Movement Shipping.
Linked to earlier M/V Sward hijacking; Turkish vessels, helicopters & drones monitoring; conflicting reports of drone strike.
