  • Smriti Mandhana became the first Indian woman cricketer to score consecutive centuries in One-Day Internationals (ODIs) during a match against South Africa at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on June 19.
  • On June 23, Smriti Mandhana set a new record for the most runs scored by an Indian woman in a bilateral ODI series, highlighting her consistency and prowess in international cricket.
  • Smriti Mandhana has received several accolades, including the Rachael Heyhoe-Flint Award for the best female cricketer of the year by the ICC in 2018 and 2022. 
  • She also won the BCCI award for Best Women’s International Cricketer in June 2018, underscoring her impact and recognition in the world of cricket.
