India Unveils Homegrown Man-Portable Counter-Drone System
  • On June 10, 2024, the Indian Army received the groundbreaking Man Portable Counter Drone System (MPCDS) developed by AXISCADES Technologies Limited, marking a significant enhancement in the nation's defense capabilities against unmanned aerial threats.
  • The MPCDS boasts high portability with the ability to operate on both battery and mains power, wide frequency coverage including Command & Control and Navigation, and effective detection and jamming capabilities for various drones within a 5-kilometer range.
  • The Ministry of Defence plans to invest Rs 3000 crore over the next five years to bolster Counter-Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (C-UAV) capabilities, with AXISCADES Technologies playing a pivotal role in providing advanced C-UAV systems and integrated solutions.
