Ladakh’s First Fresh Apricot Export to UAE

- On 14 July 2026, Ladakh dispatched its first fresh apricot consignment to UAE under 1,000 MT export initiative.
- Covers GI-tagged Raktsey Karpo and Halman varieties.
- Partnership between Ladakh administration and Lulu Retail via MoU.
- Cargo flight from Delhi; APEDA and Ministry of Food Processing Industries involved.
- Chief Secretary Ashish Kundra reviewed the arrangements. Target much higher than previous years’ 1,500 kg exports.
