Special Rail Coach Dedicated To Mahatma Gandhi Unveiled At Rajghat

- Union Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat unveiled a "meticulously restored" railway coach symbolizing Mahatma Gandhi's famous rail journeys.
- This coach is a symbol of the famous rail journeys of Mahatma Gandhi, who played an important role in his mission to unite the country during the freedom struggle.
- The coloured brown coach has the symbol 'III' inscribed on it, indicating the third class coaches in which he travelled. It has been installed at Gandhi Darshan at Rajghat here.
- A life-size statue of Mahatma Gandhi has been installed at its feet, depicting him getting down from the bus.
- This initiative has been taken by the Ministry of Culture.
