Sourav Ganguly Inducted into ICC Hall of Fame

On 8 July 2026, former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly was inducted into the prestigious ICC Hall of Fame, becoming the 12th Indian cricketer to receive this honour. Known as 'Dada', Ganguly transformed Indian cricket with his aggressive leadership and fearless approach. He captained India to the 2003 World Cup final, secured memorable overseas Test wins, and nurtured talents like Dhoni, Sehwag, and Harbhajan. Ganguly played 113 Tests and 308 ODIs. He joins legends including Tendulkar, Dravid, Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, and Kumble in the elite group.
