Gujarat Launches Viksit Gujarat – Data Centre Policy 2026-29

The Gujarat government unveiled the Viksit Gujarat – Data Centre Policy 2026-29 on 9 July 2026 in Gandhinagar to position the state as a leading hub for hyperscale data centres, AI infrastructure, and cloud services. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel launched the policy, which offers attractive fiscal incentives like capital subsidies, power tariff support, SGST reimbursement, and stamp duty exemptions. With 69 GW power capacity (47 GW renewable), Dholera SIR, GIFT City, and strong connectivity, Gujarat aims to bridge India’s data centre gap and attract global investments.
