Veteran Singer S Janaki Passes Away at 88

- Legendary South Indian playback singer S Janaki, known as the Nightingale of South India, passed away at the age of 88.
- She breathed her last at Apollo BGS Hospitals, Mysuru on 11 July 2026 at 7:30 PM.
- Admitted on 11 July at 12:49 PM in critical condition due to age-related ailments, she was shifted to ICU.
- She suffered multiple cardiac arrests during treatment despite intensive care and CPR efforts by the medical team.
