Oscar Piastri Azerbaijan the first Formula 1 victory at the Grand Prix 2024.
The win gave McLaren teammate Lando Norris a 20-point lead over Red Bull in the constructors' standings after finishing fourth. Red Bull had been at the top of the standings for the last 55 races; McLaren last held this position in 2014.
