Sitaram Yechury, CPI(M) general secretary, passes away

Communist Party of India (Marxist) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury passed away at the age of 72.
Sitaram Yechury died on 12 September 2024 at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, where he was admitted due to pneumonia on 19 August.
