Popular Front Of India Banned For 5 Years Over "Terror Links"

- The Indian government has declared Popular Front of India (PFI) and its associates or affiliates as an unlawful association with immediate effect for five years.
- The ban on the Popular Front of India will be followed by seizure of properties linked to the organisation and freezing of its bank accounts.
- The Popular Front of India was created in 2007 through the merger of three Muslim organisations in southern India.
