Centre releases over ₹1,066 crore to flood and landslide-affected states under disaster fund:

The Government of India has sanctioned ₹1,066.80 crore from the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) to six states severely impacted by floods and landslides during the southwest monsoon. Assam received ₹375.60 crore, Uttarakhand ₹455.60 crore, Kerala ₹153.20 crore, and smaller allocations went to Manipur, Meghalaya, and Mizoram. The funds aim to support emergency relief and rehabilitation measures.
