NITI Aayog Unveils 2nd North Eastern District SDG Index; Mizoram’s Hnahthial Tops List:

NITI Aayog, along with MoDoNER and UNDP support, released the second edition of the North Eastern Region District SDG Index (2023-24). Mizoram’s Hnahthial was named top-performing district. Sikkim and Tripura joined the front runner group. The report showed that 85% of districts improved their composite score, with 93 districts marking better performance in health indicators.
