India limits Bangladesh jute imports:

India has imposed new restrictions on imports of jute, yarn, and woven fabrics from Bangladesh, disallowing their entry through land ports along the India-Bangladesh border. Imports will now be routed only via Nhava Sheva seaport, following similar restrictions applied in May 2025 on garments and food products.
