MNRE Issues Revised Biomass Programme Guidelines to Boost Clean Energy Adoption:

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has notified significant amendments to its Biomass Programme guidelines under the National Bioenergy Programme (Phase-I), applicable till 2025–26. The revised guidelines are intended to enhance clean energy use, improve regulatory clarity, and encourage widespread adoption of biomass technologies across the country.
