Himachal’s first ozone-based drinking water project

- CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated the state’s first ozone-based drinking water treatment project in Dehra, Kangra (₹46 crore).
- Ozone gas will disinfect water and improve taste; model to be replicated elsewhere.
- Mukhyamantri Ka Apna Parivar Sukhi Parivar Yojana surveys underway; launch on 2 October with financial support and 300 free electricity units for poor families.
- Rajiv Gandhi Van Samvardhan Yojana offers ₹1.20 lakh to SHGs for plantation with survival incentives.
- CBSE schools expansion and a new veterinary hospital at Baddal Thor also announced.
- Adequate funds assured for Dehra’s development.
