India Launches Vision Document on Drug Control 2026-2029

- Vision Document on Drug Control (2026-2029) launched in New Delhi on 26 June by the Narcotics Control Bureau.
- Focuses on four pillars: Enforcement, Precursor Control, Demand Reduction & Rehabilitation, Capacity Building.
- Includes Online Drugs Disposal Campaign destroying drugs worth ₹6,000 crore.
- Addresses synthetic drugs, darknet trafficking; plans amendments to NDPS Act.
