CS Setty gets FSIB approval to head SBI as next chairman
  • Challa Srinivasulu Shetty has been selected as the next chairman of State Bank of India (SBI) by the Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB), an arm of the central government. 
  • The other two contenders were Ashwini Tewari and Vinay Tons. 
  • Shetty will replace incumbent president Dinesh Khara, whose term ends on August 28. 
  • Shetty is the managing director of the country's largest government bank SBI.
